Shooting at the Agave Estates here in Houston with such a fun couple was a top of the year experience. Even though it’s taken me months to process and select the right photos to tell the right story, it was worth it. Ever since I have known Coby and Morgan, I have admired their love for each other. It was simple and effortless, so much that a simple photo they once posted to Facebook had everyone thinking they’d just gotten engaged, myself included. We all piled on the comments to congratulate them only to find out that the photo was nothing more than a happy day for them. Geezus. They made it look so easy and most importantly, it was a visual in my oh-so aesthetic world that that kind of happiness does exist. This couple marks a special place in my heart because they showed me something I may have never seen that close at a time I needed it most. What they stood for kept me honest to hold out for my best friend and the love of my own life, Drew. You see things much more beautifully when you are happy yourself, and it was an incredible catalyst that went off in my camera thereafter. I couldn’t snap fast enough to keep up with the phenomenal shot selection around me. Morgan’s beautiful smile and Coby’s hilarious personality had me jumping around all night trying to catch it all, not to mention the army of good people this couple keeps. You guys might want to check out Jorgensen’s priceless expression and Mrs. Todd’s shot that she’s going to have a hitman out for me over, but man the shot was awesome!
This super sonic sweet, too legit to quit cake was made by the one and only Rise Cupcakes, a stellar cupcake and wedding cake bakery in Friendswood.
It looks that Jorgensen assumed catching the garter to be something like the Black Plague. And Mrs. Todd, you’re a rock star!
Two awesome human beings here.
This kid is going to have the coolest set of parents around for decades. Too legit to quit!
