A couple of weeks ago, I had the incredible honor to work with a kind soul as he planned to surprise his lady, popping the question on a warm Sunday afternoon at Eleanor Tinsley Park. And by warm, any Houston resident understands I mean massive, sweltering heat!

Greg reached out to me and explained how he wanted to propose to Pam at Eleanor Tinsley Park. They’re both runners of the extreme kind so we staged a plan where I would be sitting, stretching as if I had just gone on a run myself. As he led her to the landing where they would start their life of forever, I started scrambling for my camera. Her hands covered a surprised beautiful smile and the reward of having pulled off a real surprise came full circle as they hugged each other, holding on for minutes. The overwhelming sensation of love to that degree is something that brings tears to my eyes every time I get to witness it. I was beyond honored that Greg asked me to capture such a personal detail of their lives together and I wish them the very best that this life has to give. Talk about a STUNNING couple! It’s like the heat of the day didn’t have a chance with this icy cool pair. Congrats to you both, Pam and Greg!
