Traveling to Paris was an adventure in its own right but once there, it was as if we had teleported to a place that was simply unfathomable. Words don’t do it justice, and pictures barely scratch the surface.
We had taken the train from London, dozing in and out of an awakened state as we slowly let our guard down. The humming tracks and steady pace was enough to relax after the culture shift in London and struggling through a near all-nighter. Once the train came to a stop in Paris, we scooped our belongings, shoved our suitcases off the train and headed for another unknown … Read More
A little over a year ago, my husband and I decided we would get serious about traveling to Europe. I told him I had to see Venice and left it to him to decide the rest. We sat down over a beer, listed everything out and the plan began to emerge that we would start in London, train to Paris, fly to Rome, train to Florence, train to Venice, fly to Munich and then fly home. At the time I was also working for an internet company as the Director of Interactive Marketing. When they learned that I was also a photographer, they began pushing me to the company’s clients. Madison Lily was one of the first collaborations I had the pleasure to work with.
So we sat down for a set of meetings and began the scheming and theming for the brand’s upcoming magazine space in the Houston Modern Luxury mag. We yanked … Read More
A couple of weeks ago, I had the incredible honor to work with a kind soul as he planned to surprise his lady, popping the question on a warm Sunday afternoon at Eleanor Tinsley Park. And by warm, any Houston resident understands I mean massive, sweltering heat!
Greg reached out to me and explained how he wanted to propose to Pam at Eleanor Tinsley Park. They’re both runners of the extreme kind so we staged a plan where I would be sitting, stretching as if I had just gone on a run myself. As he led her to the landing where they would start their life … Read More
